Traditionally, Acumatica would host a launch event in Boston, MA during mid-September, where they would unveil the products enhanced functionality, followed by a series of roadshows spread throughout the US.
These roadshows were meant to hold a more intimate setting where attendees could network with other Acumatica users and partners, discover 3rd party solutions, view a live demo of the upgraded business management solution, and a Q&A session that involved users from all levels of experience. As we mentioned earlier, this year's event looks quite different from past events, as there has been no mention of roadshows and the kickoff event that's been hosted in Boston each year has moved online, as have many other recent events, due to COVID-19.
Nonetheless, Acumatica wouldn't miss an opportunity to share their recent enhancements, which span the gamut from Usability and Reporting to Financials and CRM, from Inventory and Order Management to Payroll and Project. Additionally, each specialized Acumatica Industry Edition also gains new capabilities with Acumatica 2020 R2: Commerce, Construction, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Field Service Editions.
