In 2013, Sage conducted a survey to better understand the key issues their customers face in relation to inventory management. The survey concluded 42% of users report daily management of stock outs as their number one concern, 37% have a hard time striking a balancing between stock and demand resulting in too much capital being tied up in stock, and 21% stated spending far too much time calculating reorder quantities.
