Meet the valuable team members who contribute to our flawless ERP deployments and exceptional customer service - next up:

MEAGAN BOBB

Say hello to Meagan, our fantastic Project Manager and jumper of planes (keep scrolling to find out what the HECK this means πŸ‘€). Meagan has been a wonderful addition to our team and an important asset to project flow since 2021. Fresh out of the COVID lockdowns and having to adapt to the new world of hybrid office structure, Meagan has overcome these challenges with aplomb and led our team fearlessly and knowledgeably through all things Acumatica. Something upcoming that is SUPER cool (and we're all eagerly awaiting about this), Meagan will be co-leading a session with our Sales and Customer Success Manager, Kayla Harter, at the acuCONNECT Virtual Conference, happening September 12-13.πŸ—“οΈ

And with that, we hand the mic🎀 to Meagan - take it away girl!!

Q: Where were you prior to Klear Systems and what/who made you join our team? Have you kept the same role since switching teams?!

A: Prior to Klear Systems, I worked for Broco Rankin for roughly 10 years, beginning as an intern and working my way up quickly to a full-time Customer Service Representative. Broco Rankin is a leader in the Automation Machinery Manufacturing industry and needed a hefty software solution to keep up with the volume of manufacturing we were doing. During my time here, I noticed time-wasting manual processes that I knew had to go in order to increase company-wide efficiency. This led me to reach out to who is now my current boss, Frank, at Klear Systems for Sage ERP and thus, Broco Rankin became a Sage client.

Equipped with my new knowledge of Sage automation products, I was referred to Cibaria International, an Olive Oil & Vinegar importer & manufacturer, who recruited me as their Project Manager, ERP, & Website Admin for Sage implementation. I did not hesitate to call Klear Systems for Sage once again, but it was at THIS time that Frank introduced me to awesome world of Acumatica. I stayed on with Cibarria for about five years, learning how Acumatica works and, knowing Acumatica had been successfully implemented to Cibarria, I felt my calling to join Klear as our Project Manager and have been here since 2021!

Q: What did Klear Systems do for your orientation day?! Or if you started during the remote-only days, what is your most favorite memory since this lifted and we've had the chance to get together?! (Getting treated to lunch at "Edna's" (iykyk) is a fond memory of mine!)

A: Definitely going to lunch is a plus (my heart can always be won by yummy-nummies)! Orientation Day and even since has made a huge impact and to me, showed the heart of the Klear Systems team. My desk was ready, computer, monitor, headset and phone prepared for my remote-working desk. Emails, business cards, even a customized employee survey; I had never felt so spoiled on a first day. I'm used to people being flustered and not prepared for a new employee.

Q: What does your position/title entail, and what do you most enjoy about it? How has the remote/hybrid work structure challenged your position so far, and do you feel like you have the resources to be successful in your role?

A: As the project manager, I coordinate between the customer and our ERP consultant team to schedule, follow-up, look ahead, etc., with the primary goals to keep the project on target and on budget. This has its challenges because no one company is the same as another so we need to 'ebb & flow' while still delivering a high standard of project implementation while being flexible to client requirements.

This same challenge is what I like most about my position too; not one client is the same as another, so I get to 'geek-out' about all different types of businesses, go-to-market strategies, sales structures and product/service variability. As a business major, I feel like I'm in the middle of a deep dive into each business. It's just fascinating!

Q: Could you share some highlights from your professional journey (could be something with us at Klear or a prior company, we just want to hear how cool you are!)?

A: Something that I've noticed and now take great pride in, is the fact that I've never gotten a job because I applied for it. Ever since my college internship, I have been recommended and referred to positions my entire career. In college, I was referred to a small business about 45 minutes from campus, for 12hrs a week. Then, their Customer Service manager needed to hire a full-time employee, she recommended me! I grew in the company through sales and operations and left 10yrs later as one of the top managers of the company. I was referred to a position closer to home and said they could use my PM and ERP skills to implement an inventory management system and then 3 years after that, I was recommended to Klear Systems!

Q: QUICK, BEFORE WE GO:
- Can you tell us the airplane story?! Why did you jump out of a perfectly good plane?!
- What is your favorite Indian dish?
- Do you like traveling WITH or without technology?

A: I'm a daddy's girl and when I was about 15, my dad did it and I thought it looked so fun, so naturally, I did. I had to wait until I was 18 so it became a birthday present; we went to a world-renowned drop zone in Arizona and I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane! It was amazing! I wish I could do it again, to enjoy it a little more rather than being so scared when I first jumped.

Tikka Masala is a usual for me but I'd like to try more Indian food. I've been to England with tech and without, both as an adult and while tech is amazing and so simple to get around, I do enjoy using the Tube-Maps and figuring out things the old fashion way, even if it just keeps me on my toes.
