Cristian is a wicked Business Development Representative turned Acumatica ERP Consultant and has been quite an asset to our Klear Systems team since joining in January 2022. What is Business Development you ask? We ask Cristian the nitty gritty questions to get to the bottom of this vast, important role.
Q: How did your journey at Klear Systems begin?
A: I learned about an opening for a Business Development position by an employee and was introduced to Frank. I was familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) but brand new to the Sage and Acumatica arenas. Over the last 2 years I've learned a tremendous amount about the industry and forged relationships with numerous ISVs and clients. Since starting I've transitioned from a Business Development role to a Consultant.
Q: Do you feel welcomed by the team?
A: Absolutely, I love our KSI team dynamic. We have a hybrid and remote workforce but it feels like we all work in the office together every day. Whenever assistance is needed, one of the team members is always available to help. And if they aren't available, they will make time to help.
Q: What does your position/title entail?
A: As an Acumatica ERP Consultant my role is to be the frontline for support and distributing support cases to the team as needed. I also assist with project implementations by completing tasks that the lead/supporting consultant may not have the bandwidth to complete. I don't necessarily have a functional area or topic that I'm focused in as I need to have a general understanding of all functions to provide support.
Q: What do you like about your position so far?
A: I like interacting with all of our different clients and helping solve any issues they send to support. I really enjoy learning about different business problems that need to be addressed and coming up with different ways to handle our client's unique requirements. There's never a dull moment as it's always something new that client's are requesting.
Q: Do you feel like you have the resources to be successful in your role?
A: Yes, Acumatica provides a plethora of resources for us to utilize. On top of that, our team has a wealth of knowledge in each of the various topics that we can all leverage from each other.
Q: Anything else you'd like to add?
A: KSI is the best company to work for and I love our team!!!
Q: QUICK, BEFORE WE GO - name your favorite food (yes it can be top three, this is a difficult question)!!
A: I'm going to stick with types of food instead of specific dishes. Specific dishes are way too hard.
