This informative session was kicked off with our classic intros prior to diving right in to the intricate, yet easy-to-maneuver, east-to-manage EBizCharge plug-in for our Acumatica and Sage clients. Viewers received an overview with Matt Rogers, Vice President of Strategic Alliances at EBizCharge. Here we learned that out of the 100,000 clients, 600 of those are specifically in the Acumatica space. EBiz is proud to showcase their 16th release with Acumatica within the eight years of partnership, thus maintaining Platinum Development Partner status. With access to Acumatica codings, EBiz is able to keep their product as up-to-date as possible while also maintaining 100% PCI compliance. Matt also gave us insight on what 3D Secure is, and as of last year this additional layer of security has been seamlessly integrated into EBiz to minimize fraudulent card-not-present (CNP) transactions, therefore shifting the liability from you as a business to the bank who issued that card - boom 💥.
Next, we dove into the demos with Justin Giltner, Senior Client Services Specialist, where he gave us a detailed look into the features Acumatica Cloud ERP offers, i.e. sales order invoice processing, bulk invoice generation, and the payment portal. Sage 100 also offers similar menu options, boasting an identical layout to EBiz for ease of use, i.e. payment tabs and payment link options. Justin closed off the demo with a rundown of what the Backend Reporting Gateway looks like and how it functions (can we give a round of applause to how truly customizable everything is with EBiz and their integrations?!)

Q: What security features does EBiz provide?
A: We have a full Fraud Suite for merchant concerns over control over address validation, security code validation, restricting transactions. We offer filters like country codes to avoid foreign-type payments. 3D Secure shifts all liability from you as a business to the bank and also protects you from chargebacks.
Q: What is the implementation process like to install EBizCharge?
A: Once the presentation is through, we hand it over to the application team to get the relevant information to then submit to the underwriters. Once the approval comes back in the span of a few days, it's a sprint to implement into your Acumatica or Sage, whichever solution you're with.
Q: What is the cost of EBizCharge Integration?
A: We don't charge for integrations., but there are a couple fixed fees that every merchant will be responsible for, i.e. Monthly Support and PCI annual, but implementation is "gratis".
Q: Is the EBizCharge Cloud interface what we would use to capture a payment on the go, like making a sale at a trade show? How would that write back to Acumatica or Sage?
A: If you have a laptop with ERP access, this would be an option. The virtual cloud-based terminal is also an option as well as our mobile app. It can depend, if you're using the mobile app standalone, manual write-backs are necessary in this scenario.
