acuconnect 2024
Kicking off the second half of the year, acuCONNECT 2024 set a high standard for virtual conferences in the ERP space. This year’s event was a testament to the power of community and collaboration. Among the highlights was the 2024 Virtual Conference, where our very own Manager of Sales and Customer Success, Kayla Harter (who recently celebrated a 💍personal milestone💍 and is now Kayla Bolivar!), teamed up with our Project Manager, Meagan Bobb, to deliver an engaging session titled "Customer Journey Excellence: Perfecting the Project Handoff." Their insights resonated deeply with attendees, providing actionable strategies for seamless collaboration.
The event also featured a Virtual Expo Hall, a lively "Speed Networking" session, and a series of educational panels, all conducted in real time. Unlike most virtual conferences, acuCONNECT prides itself on hosting live sessions that foster meaningful interaction between presenters and attendees. This unique approach ensures that the spirit of community and connection—or as we like to call it, 🥁CONNECTion🥁—remains alive and vibrant.

Acumatica virtual launch event
The Acumatica Virtual Launch Event gave us an exclusive look at the latest updates and features in Acumatica’s ecosystem. From enhanced user experience to advanced analytics tools, the updates showcased Acumatica’s ongoing commitment to empowering businesses.
This was a wonderful opportunity to come together virtually and explore the exciting new features being introduced for our already competitive cloud ERP, all aimed at helping us thrive in the fast-paced tech world.
As always, Acumatica listened to the heartfelt feedback from the Acumatica Community, addressing requests like Payment Processing, 1099/T5018 Compliance, and the automatic assignment of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities to the correct Sales reps. Plus, we’ve introduced customizable Email Templates tailored for each branch, making this update not just user-friendly but also geared toward boosting profits!

eBizCharge 
In July, we hosted a Coffee Chat with EBizCharge, where we explored their seamless integration with Acumatica and Sage. The session highlighted EBizCharge's commitment to innovation with its 16th release for Acumatica and their dedication to maintaining Platinum Development Partner status. Some key takeaways included insights into 3D Secure technology for enhanced fraud protection and a detailed demonstration of user-friendly features like sales order invoice processing, bulk invoice generation, and the payment portal. The session concluded with an overview of the customizable Backend Reporting Gateway.

SoCal Acumatica User Group Meetup: AUGUST 2024
In August, we were part of the SoCal Acumatica User Group Meetup where we were able to meet in person for networking and learning at Axis Research & Technologies.
The SoCal Acumatica User Group is a regional group open to local customers, prospects, partners, and Acumatica employees. Meetings held in local destinations allow the sharing of knowledge and product use through presentations, peer-to-peer networking, round table and ad hoc discussions, and more! Join this group to stay updated on SoCal User Group events, activities and discussions.
Acumatica 24r2: What's new and what you need to know 
In October, Acumatica released 24R2 which was expected as it includes one of the most anticipated features is the new user interface (UI), now you’ll be able to move header fields around, add new fields, and tailor the interface to your needs with ease amongst other new features.
