Klear Systems HQ has MOVED!!
Though we looovveedd our giant office space in Irvine, the offices and conference room were becoming lonely due to our hybrid structure, so pack up and downsize we did. And with a few short miles of distance from our previous HQ we are now new and happy residents of Lake Forest! Stay tuned for some exciting before and after pics 📸
SoCal Acumatica USer GRoup Q2 Meetup
This year's SoCal Acumatica User Group meetup was held at Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles Inc. with amazing sponsorship from Velixo. The sharing of knowledge, good food, and Velixo's product feature presentations called for a memorable get-together! And as an EXTRA treat for the attendees to polish off the day, we got a tour of the Bandai Namco headquarters, where everyone could marvel at their LA Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani memorabilia wall, along with classic 90's/Y2K toy memorabilia like Pokémon! Hot topics discussed were the sleek new features of Acumatica 2024 R1, an introduction and demo of Velixo and how their Excel-based Acumatica plug-in will positively impact our users, as well as a neat presentation from Velixo CEO, Gabriel Michaud, on the fun Co-Pilot AI features utilizing imported Acumatica data. Nothing like learning AND having fun!!

Acumatica 2024 R1 somehow manages to increase functionality and innovativeness with each of their bi-annual release. Just to list a few of their epic new changes:
- Financials and Payroll:
- Comply with sales tax nexus laws with Exemption Certificate Management from Avalara to collect and manage customer exemption certificates for healthcare providers, government organizations, higher education institutions, non-profits, and qualifying manufacturing product sales.
- Utilize Acumatica Payments to streamline point-of-sale (POS) payment transaction processing by using credit card readers to record payments directly from the Acumatica solution without third-party software.
- Improve credit memos with inclusive credit term due dates and discount amounts, enabling organizations to better align with invoice due dates for improved payment accuracy, receivable reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Simplified cash returns by generating cash return transactions included in bank deposits
- Optional or required approval and rejection reasons for financial transactions, such as invoices, bills, adjustments, memos, and payments
- CRM:
- Advanced case commitment tracking and a flexible case closure workflow to ensure stellar customer service
- A 360-view of project details provided by automatically updated projects with associated activities and related tasks
- Notify support specialists when return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) related to open support cases are closed.
- Retail and Commerce:
- Streamlined point-of-sale (POS) payment transaction processing utilizing Acumatica Payments directly from the Acumatica solution
- Use bidirectional sync to import products from Shopify and BigCommerce stores to Acumatica through the Commerce connector.
- Manufacturing:
- Optimize MRP generation with ‘planning horizons’ that enable organizations to define time-constrained data for inclusion in supply and demand calculations.
- Improve material demand planning by forecasting optional stock and non-stock kit components.
- Provide manufacturing workers the flexibility to report production operations when they are run in parallel.

Our Firest ever Client Appreciation event at ANGELS STADIUM ⚾️
As you probably may not know, July is our company anniversary month, and with that Klear Systems hosted our FIRST ever Client Appreciation Event at the Angels game as a thank you for the constant trust and support we receive from our clients. We spent the night balling(...) out together with our local employees (those out-of-state were sorely missed), a handful of clients, and co-sponsor, EBizCharge.
The night was truly a success all around, ESPECIALLY with the Angels bagging a serious win of 7-2 against the former '23 World Series champs the Texas Rangers (how ya like THEM apples 😎) and plenty of food and drinks...we work hard, play hard, but best of all, WIN hard!!🏆 Though this was the first C.A.E. we hosted, it certainly will not be the last - (2025, where shall we go?!)!!
