Created in partnership with Scanco, this new module is designed to solve common manufacturing issues like meeting demand on time, reducing labor on data entry, minimizing errors, and keeping the knowledge of your business contained to one system--not just one employee.
This NEW product from Sage gives you three things:

Sage Production Management tracks all job-related attributes to monitor costs vs. budget in real time and make adjustments to inventory, materials, and the production process with increased agility and ease.
2. Greater Visibility
With Sage Production Management, you can track the status of an item in real time which helps you to identify bottlenecks, improve capacity planning, and ultimately improves customer satisfaction!
3. Increased Efficiency
Sage Production Management helps to automate your processes and reduce errors by receiving alerts when reordering is needed, taking employee guesswork out of the production equation.
A few examples of the additional features include:
- Real-time updates of inventory transactions and quantity on-hand as materials are issued to a Work Order
- Ability to create New Work Orders from multiple sources, such as:
–Templates
-Open work orders
-Historical work orders
-Manually - Full capability to edit Work Ticket Steps and Materials until the Work Ticket is closed
- Ability to maintain Original and Revised Budgets for Labor, Materials & Other Direct Costs

While Sage Production Management was released back in May there are still a couple of extensions that are coming soon! Material Requirements Planning set to be available this month will help elevate supply and demand more accurately while avoiding costly delays by optimizing your inventory and scheduling. Make to order, scheduled for release this September, is designed to enhance your current stock functionality with features to customize items according to customer specifications. And while there's no set date for Enhanced Scheduling we do know it will be available sometime in 2020, allowing improved coordination and efficiency with a user-friendly interface and optimize the management and availability of materials and forecast predictions.
