Ashton Kutcher's venture fund has invested in tech companies including Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Flipboard, Foursquare, and Shazam.
Although we all know Mr. Kutcher as the star of hit TV shows such as "That '70s Show", "Two and a Half Men" and most recently the Netflix original series, "The Ranch" he has also served as executive producer and co-creator of many popular series and movies such as "Punk'd", "Beauty and the Geek", and "No Strings Attached".
However, the entertainment industry is not the only area in which Kutcher has experienced success. In 2011, Kutcher has invested in multiple tech companies including Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Flipboard, SoundCloud, Foursquare, Shazam, and Houzz with his venture fund, A-Grade Investments, which he co-created with Ron Burkle and Guy Oseary. In 2014, Kutcher and Oseary founded another fund, Sound Ventures, which has invested in many more companies.
Additionally, Kutcher was named one of TIME magazine’s 2010 “100 Most Influential People in the World” followed by Vanity Fair's 2011 New Establishment List, which identifies the top 50 of an innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies, and entrepreneurs, the following year. In both 2010 and 2014 Ashton was named one of Forbes magazine’s “World’s Most Powerful Celebrities,” as well as one of Fast Company magazine’s “Most Creative People.”
Along with all of these marvelous achievements, Kutcher is also the co founder of Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children, which drives technology innovation to fight the sexual exploitation of children. This organization, along with his many other achievements, make him the perfect candidate to speak at Sage Summit 2016!
